Olive is a 3 year old hound mix. She was only 13 lbs when she arrived at a rural high kill shelter. She has gained weight and is now about 17 lbs. She is very sweet but very shy. It takes her a little while to feel comfortable with new people but she is not at all aggressive. After she's had a few minutes to get to know you, she happily will cuddle in your lap. She also loves her dog bed. Olive gets along with other dogs and if fine with cats too. She is currently living in a foster home in Maryland with a nice lab and a cat. She loves having the company.
Olive is crate trained and house trained. She is learning to walk well on a leash and she's getting used to the sounds of the city - after all, she was a country dog until recently.
Olive is looking forward to finding her forever home.
